Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is Reqwire?
Reqwire is a digital banking platform built for businesses operating across both fiat and crypto.

It brings your financial tools together in one place, so you can send, receive, and exchange multiple currencies without friction.

At the moment, Reqwire serves businesses and organizations. Personal accounts are coming later.
Which fiat currencies can I use?
Reqwire currently supports the following fiat currencies:

USD, EUR, GBP, MXN, AED, and CAD.

Additional currencies will be introduced as new corridors go live.
Which cryptocurrencies are supported?
Reqwire allows both stablecoins and major cryptocurrencies:

Stablecoins: USDT (ERC-20, TRC-20), USDC (ERC-20)
Non-stable coins: BTC, ETH
Is Reqwire licensed?
Yes. Reqwire operates under a regulated structure through licensed partners and subsidiaries, including:

VASP licenses (Virtual Asset Service Provider) in the Czech Republic and Lithuania
Partnerships with providers holding MSB (Money Services Business) licenses in Canada and the U.S.

Accounts & Verification

How do I open a Reqwire business account?
Go to reqwire.io and sign up.

You'll complete a KYB (Know Your Business) process, including a short questionnaire and document upload followed by a setup fee payment.

Once submitted, our compliance team reviews your application.
How long does approval take?
Most applications are reviewed within 48 hours after all documents are received.

If additional information is required or enhanced due diligence (EDD) applies, it may take slightly longer.
Will my account be named?
Yes, most Reqwire accounts are named in the client's business name.

In rare cases (depending on industry and jurisdiction), a pooled account may be issued.

If so, you can request an official Account Confirmation Letter verifying ownership.

Billing & Fees

How do I pay the setup fee?
You can pay via cryptocurrency or credit/debit card.
Are there monthly fees?
Yes. The first month is included in your setup fee. After that, the subscription renews automatically on your onboarding date.
Is there a monthly minimum?
No, there's no minimum balance requirement.
What happens if I miss a payment?
If your account doesn't have enough funds for the monthly fee, it will be temporarily frozen until payment is received.
